I made it 8 miles and then decided walking the last two was more to my liking.

Sunday was even warmer than Saturday. 84 degrees. A week ago it was 24 degrees. My body didn’t want to deal with it so I went to the gym and swam laps for 30 minutes.

Today was a bit cooler. Only 78 degrees. My body was ready and off I went. After 11.5 miles I made it back home. Very tired but feeling pretty good. This Saturday is the first big “official” race of the year. I’ll see how my body feels when trying to run for time in the Matha Jefferson 8k run. Two weeks after that is the C-Ville 10 Miler (the biggest race of the year here in town). I’ll let you know how it goes.

Tomorrow will be a nice day of rest. My body is already looking forward to it :)
